Palace of Wonders

For one year Trixie Little booked all of the talent and produced a huge handful of recurring shows at the fledging variety venue and sideshow museum, the Palace of Wonders, in Washington, DC. It was an exciting time! The Palace was decorated entirely with the sideshow and carny collection of James Taylor’s former Dime Museum in Baltimore. The Palace changed owners and became the Red Palace for many years, and was influential in the revival of DC’s historic H Street, before closing.
