It takes a village to start a Renaissance…

Hello, World!

I’m Trixie Little and I’m starting a movement. I call it The Renaissance. This Renaissance is a philosophy and practice that seeks to create a golden age of enlightenment through the arts. A modern movement that exists to elevate artists and eccentrics, to balance our reliance on technology, to preserve analog methods of creation, to use collaboration to build community, and to re-enchant the world with wonder and delight. Through Art, I believe we can make a world we all want really to live in. And I’m not alone. I’m assisted by Vancouver artist, Burgundy Brixx— a bad ass producer, comedienne, cabaret impressario and friend. We want to make art, events, essays, interviews and experiences with Renaissance values as an analog tonic for a digital world. We need your help to make the Renaissance a reality. Step one includes raising $5000 by June 10th, 2019 for start up money. This will include paying me to work full time for one month in order to launch www.vivelarenaissance.org and start a podcast called Radio Renaissance, where Burgundy and I will interview artists and eccentrics about their process and life philosophy. Artists live their lives on the front lines and have a lot to share about the joy/terror of walking a path of authenticity and living a life of purpose. We want to bring these stories from the underground to the rest of the world. Right now, it all starts with financial support.
